An independent tracker for AI coding usage-limit resets.

What it does

When Next Reset follows public announcements of usage-limit resets for Codex and Claude, keeps a dated history with links to each original source, and offers optional browser alerts. It is built and run by an independent developer who relies on these tools daily.

Where the data comes from

Codex records come from the public Codex Resets API. Claude records come from the public Claude Resets API, plus our own annotations and verification against the original posts. Every record links to its source.

What it is not

  • Not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by OpenAI or Anthropic.
  • Not a personal quota timer: it cannot see your account. Check /usage in Claude Code, claude.ai/settings/usage, or your Codex usage page.
  • Not a guarantee: historical patterns and signals describe the past, not a promise about the next reset.
